Contact & FAQs

The best way to get in touch with Hunza Natural Foods is to send an email to our customer service representative, at: michael.haus [@] gmail.com

Before contacting us, please read these answers to some of the common questions we get:

Which country are your beans and lentils grown in?

All of our beans, lentils, and peas are grown in Canada or the United States, except for Fava Beans, Mung Beans, and Adzuki Beans.

Our current stock of Fava Beans is from Peru.

If you would like Mung Beans grown in the United States, please contact Hummingbird Wholesale, or Pleasant Grove Farms in California.

If you would like Adzuki Beans grown in the United States, please contact Eden Foods in Michigan.

Are your products gluten-free?

Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee that our products are 100% gluten-free. There is an extremely small chance that the beans or lentils could have been contaminated with gluten. So while our beans and lentils should be safe for most people, if you have severe Celiac Disease, you may want to find a product that is certified gluten-free.

Can you tell me which field my product was grown in, based off the lot number?

Your product has likely been handled by about four different companies by the time we receive it — so we do not have the contact information of the original farm that grew the product. However, the USDA would be able to find this information if they needed to, by tracking the lot numbers on our bags.

Why will not all Hunza products sprout?

For beans to sprout, they have the right amount of moisture. If the beans are too dry, they will not sprout.

Some customers have successfully sprouted our beans, while others have not been so successful. This is why we don’t recommend them for this purpose. Also, our products were not treated with anything that hinders them from sprouting.

Do you accept returns on products damaged during shipping?

Amazon’s policy is to not accept returns of food products. However, they do allow refunds. If you need a refund because your product was damaged, please contact Amazon’s customer service at 1 (888) 280-4331.
